Blackpot Camp takes place at the beautiful Lakeview Park & Beach in Eunice, Louisiana. Camp begins Sunday with dinner and ends Friday morning after breakfast. Can’t make the whole week? That’s okay! We have a day rate. Dinners and dances are open to the public but we ask that only registered campers are on-site from 10am-6pm.

Tuition includes all classes, meals, dances and all of the intangible magic of camp. Blackpot Festival is a separate ticketed event following the camp in Lafayette, LA.

Tuition does not include accommodations – tent camping is $50/tent for the week and payable to Lakeview when you arrive. There are no advanced tent camping reservations. We have plenty of space for tents and tents/sleeping bags available for rent.

RV Reservations are available for an additional fee by contacting Lakeview. We may have a very limited number of cabin spaces available for rent first-come first-serve. If you are interested you can be added to the wait list and we will follow up in early October. We recommend booking alternative refundable accommodations in the mean time. There are several nice affordable hotels in Eunice.

Need-based scholarships are available and the application will be available to you upon receiving your deposit. Scholarship application deadline was September 15. All scholarship recipients are asked to also sign up for at least one work trade job.

Work trade is an essential part of making our camp work! It’s also a great way to feel more involved and get to know folks in the community. Work trade participants have the option of being refunded $15/hour at end of the week upon completing their shifts. Commitments range from a couple hours a day to more floating flexible jobs. If you indicate you are interested we will contact folks beginning in August (in the order they register) to sign up for shifts.

Once you’ve paid your deposit you will receive an email with a link to complete your registration information and apply for scholarship or work trade if you wish. You can pay your remaining balance in advance via Zelle, or with cash, check or credit card on site.
